Teignbridge councillors will soon be adopting the first part of an action plan to reduce Teignbridge’s carbon footprint.

The 80-page Carbon Action Plan will be considered on Tuesday 26th July to go through the actions needed to achieve net-zero targets, including working towards a net-zero fleet for the Council, moving away from fossil fuels in Council buildings, and reducing emissions for new building projects.

The first part of the plan is set to outline how Teignbridge Council can reduce their own carbon emissions, while the second part will focus on reducing emissions district-wide.
