This is one of the first social housing projects of its type within Mid Devon. The Zero-Carbon Social Housing Scheme by Zed Pods and Mid-Devon District Council, along with a similar scheme in Tiverton, will be carbon-neutral, with houses including features such as triple glazing and solar panels.
The scheme was also shortlisted for the Innovation Award, Residential Property of the Year, and the Net Zero Award.
Update 12.06.23:
The zero carbon homes have been shortlisted for more South West’s Constructing Excellence Awards in 2023.
