Western Power Distribution recognised as one of Europe’s Climate Leaders for 2022

Western Power Distribution (WPD) has been listed as one of Europe’s Climate Leaders for 2022 by the Financial Times and independent data company Statista.
Leaders were selected based on how much their scope one and two emissions had been cut between 2015 and 2020. WPD were recognised among thousands of companies across 33 countries for their work, which reduced emissions from their electricity distribution by more than 10%.
WPD intend to continue their efforts to cut emissions, and have a plan to reduce their business carbon footprint to net-zero by 2028.
