University of Exeter makes the most of resources with Warp-It
31.10.23

The University of Exeter has saved £291,520 and 89,354 kg CO2 since it implemented resource reuse management system Warp-It in 2018.
Staff can use Warp-It to loan or give surplus items to other staff, and items that aren’t needed in the University can be passed onto partner organisations.
Warp-It is part of the University’s commitment to reduce unnecessary procurement and waste, save purchasing and waste disposal costs, support building clearances, reduce supply chain waste, improve collaboration between staff and realise lower carbon emissions.
How is this helping Devon Reach Net-Zero?
Action R1. Deliver targeted communication to empower people and businesses to adopt more sustainable consumption habits, prevent waste and shift to a culture of sharing, reusing and recycling.
Action R2. Support communities to establish waste and resources projects.Â
