The University of Exeter has joined the new Nature Positive Universities Alliance launched at COP15.

The Alliance is a global network of universities that have made an official pledge to work towards a “nature positive” goal. Members will halt, prevent and reverse nature loss related to their own impacts and activities.

The University of Exeter joins 116 other universities from 48 countries. Each member has pledged to carry out baseline assessments; set specific, time limited and measurable targets for nature; take bold action to reduce biodiversity impacts, protect and restore species and ecosystems, while influencing others to do the same; and engage in transparent annual reporting.
