Students given opportunity for work experience on real world sustainability projects

The University of Exeter and QS Quacquarelli Symonds have coordinated the global Future17 programme, enabling students to complete work experience on real-world sustainability projects.
A total of 126 students from the University of Exeter, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Universidade de São Paulo and South Africa’s Stellenbosch University have been mentored on a range of projects, including teaching sustainability in schools with the United Nations and designing sustainability policies for publishing houses with international media company Axel Springer.
Plans are in place to scale up the programme and include up to 500 students from 20 universities.
