The first annual review of Torridge District Council’s Carbon, Environment & Biodiversity Plan has been published.

The plan was created in response to Torridge District Council’s declaration of a climate emergency and their commitment to support Devon in reaching net-zero carbon by 2050. It details how the Council is focusing on reducing its environmental impact and factoring environmental effects into its decision making and projects.

This review, as the first since the plan’s publication last year, details the Council’s current carbon footprint and the next steps that will be taken to reduce it.
