More than 16,500 trees are due to be planted in Devon this winter through the Emergency Tree Fund initiative, granted by The Woodland Trust.

Devon County Council (DCC) have delivered a total of 150 free tree packs, each containing 45 native broadleaved whips, to landowners who applied. These trees will be planted as part of National Tree Week, Saturday 6th November – Sunday 4th December 2022.

A further 9,820 trees will be planted this season by DCC. The majority of these will be located on the County Farms Estate.
