New affordable Night Bus service for Exeter

Devon County Council has partnered with bus company Stagecoach to provide an affordable Night Bus service, connecting residential areas to the city centre.
With journeys costing as little as £1, the night bus will help to ensure that residents can access the city’s nightlife without relying on private car use.
The Night Bus will also enable hospital staff to travel home safely, as the service also links the RD&E hospital to residential areas.
Transport currently accounts for 30% of Devon’s carbon emissions.
Providing safe, affordable alternatives to driving is key to cutting emissions from this sector, and was one of the most widely supported recommendations from the Devon Climate Assembly.
