New Living Roof bus shelters to be installed in Torbay

Torbay Council and Fernbank Advertising are working together to replace Torbay bus shelters with new Eco Living Roof bus shelters.
The new bus shelters are manufactured in the UK from recycled materials and have a ‘living roof’ with 16 varieties of plants. The plants attract insects and bees, as well as aiding with carbon capture from traffic. Some shelters will also use solar panels and low energy lighting.
