National Park Shares Draft Ambitions for Exmoor Partnership Plan
28.01.25

The Exmoor National Park Authority (ENPA) has unveiled its draft ambitions for the Exmoor Partnership Plan. This comprehensive plan outlines how the ENPA aims to collaborate with partners, local communities, and organizations to ensure a thriving future for Exmoor.
The draft Plan is a result of an extensive survey gathering public views, thorough evidence collection on Exmoor’s unique ‘special qualities,’ and productive workshops with delivery partners. Now, the plan is open for public consultation, offering everyone a chance to contribute before its formal adoption by the National Park Authority in Summer 2025.
The Plan focuses on reducing emissions and adapting to climate change through nature-based solutions like woodland planting and peatland restoration, sustainable land management, and promoting renewable energy. Engaging local communities in these efforts ensures long-term sustainability and resilience to climate impacts.
