Devon is stepping up its climate action with Together for Tomorrow, a five-year, £1.5 million National Lottery-funded programme led by Libraries Unlimited and CAG Devon. The initiative will transform libraries into sustainability hubs, supporting local people to run repair cafés, community fridges, growing schemes, sewing groups, and low-waste living workshops.

The programme brings together local groups such as Action for Climate Teignbridge, Blackdown Hills EcoHub, Proper Job, Earth Action North Devon, Sustainable Tiverton, Sustainable South Hams, Transition Exmouth, and Uffculme Green Team. These groups will share skills, develop toolkits, and mentor each other to increase their impact.

Outreach partners like Active Devon, Honeyscribe, and Ride-on Cycling will help extend the programme’s reach. Devon Community Foundation and Devon Communities Together will support fundraising and community engagement.

Everyone in Devon is invited to get involved—whether you’re part of a group, a library user, or simply passionate about sustainability.
