Improvements to Torbay Leisure Centre recognised at the 2022 Energy Awards

Work to improve energy efficiency at Torbay Leisure Centre has been recognised at the 2022 Energy Awards, with a ceremony in London.
Torbay Council, Parkwood Leisure and energy consultancy Leisure Energy worked to make several improvements to energy use at the centre: an air source heat pump, solar panels, ventilation and pipework upgrades, and LED lighting were installed, reducing Torbay Leisure Centre’s annual carbon emissions from its operation by 40%.
