Government support for proposals to make A382 link road UK’s first carbon negative highway

Devon County Council successfully bid for £3.7 million to decarbonise the construction and maintenance of the A382 link road development near Newton Abbott.
The project is one of only seven across the UK to receive a share of the Live Labs 2 £30 million funding pot, funded by the Department for Transport (DfT) and organised by the Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport (ADEPT).
