Exeter’s £3.5 million solar park and battery storage facility is now powering the Council’s electric fleet, recycling centre and offices.

3,700 solar panels create 1.2MW of clean, renewable energy, and the battery facility can store 2MW with flexibility between peak generation and peak usage.

The solar park and battery facility are expected to save £256,000 and 580 tonnes of carbon per annum.
