Exeter City Council wins awards for retrofit housing programme

Exeter City Council have won Regional Landlord of the Year and Regional Large Scale Project of the Year at this year’s South West Energy Efficiency Awards for their retrofit housing programme.

They were also commended in the Regional Council of the Year award.

The retrofit programme has involved energy cutting measures including exterior wall insulation, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, new windows and doors and draft proofing measures, as well as heat pumps and solar panel installation.
