Households in Devon and Torbay with an income of less than £30,000 a year can now apply for free energy efficiency improvements to the home.

The scheme, delivered by the Cosy Devon partnership, will reduce energy bills and lower carbon emissions. Upgrades up for grabs could include underfloor and solid floor insulation; insulation to cavity, external and internal walls, and lofts; double glazing, draught proofing, ventilation solar panels and heat pumps.

This will work to combat the more than 20% of Devon’s carbon emissions caused by homes. Check here to see if you’re eligible.
