Cycle Training Hubs in Tavistock and Honiton Libraries
05.02.25

A new partnership has formed between Active Devon and Libraries Unlimited, bringing free cycle training opportunities to even more communities across Devon. Starting February 2025, Tavistock and Honiton libraries will serve as new cycle training hubs, providing essential information and booking services for adult cycle training sessions.
These sessions are designed to help the public gain confidence on the road. Cycling contributes to reducing carbon emissions and fostering a culture of eco-friendly transportation. Cycling is also a great way to stay active and healthy, and these sessions are part of their broader mission to support community wellbeing.
To participate, visit Tavistock or Honiton libraries to get more information and book a free cycle training session. The sessions are open to all adults and are tailored to suit different skill levels. Rachel Payne, Business Development and Fundraising Manager at Libraries Unlimited, says, “It’s fantastic to be working with Active Devon to bring new health and wellbeing initiatives to our communities. These free and open sessions fit perfectly with our ethos to enrich lives and build communities.”
