Community Action Groups Devon project helps volunteer waste reduction groups to thrive

The Community Action Groups (CAG) Devon project has been helping volunteer waste reduction groups across Mid Devon and Teignbridge to thrive, saving 139 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions and over 32 tonnes of food from waste.
The project is funded by Devon County Council and managed by Resources Futures. A collective 16,079 volunteer hours last year have been dedicated to collecting litter, recycling, cleaning beaches and more.
