Have your say this spring!

17.03.22 – 14.04.22

This consultation is your last chance to comment on Devon’s key climate issues before we publish the final Devon Carbon Plan.

Background to the consultation

Last summer we hosted the Devon Climate Assembly, during which seventy randomly-selected individuals representative of Devon’s population were invited to discuss three of Devon’s key climate issues: onshore wind, buildings and transport. Here, you can read more about the citizens’ assembly process, as well as access the final report

Assembly members came up with a total of fourteen recommendations across the three themes.

Over the past few months, the organisations across the Devon Climate Emergency partnership have been working together to transform these recommendations into deliverable actions for Devon to include in the Devon Carbon Plan.

  What is the consultation about?

This Spring we will be giving you the opportunity to tell us what you think of these actions.

The consultation will be your chance to say whether the Devon Climate Emergency Partnership has interpreted and responded to the Devon Climate Assembly recommendations reasonably and effectively.

This consultation will help to make sure that the actions are fair, democratic and help us achieve net-zero.
