School Climate Action Plans
All schools are meant to have a climate action plan in place and a sustainability lead by end of 2025. This requirement has come from the Department of Education’s published Sustainability and Climate strategy.
Devon Climate Emergency is working to create resources for schools to help with writing plans and implementing them. In the meantime below is a list of online resources. The Department for Education has also put together a list of Sustainability Support for Education.
Why not sign up to the bi-termly school Sustainability Bulletin for the latest information and funding opportunities? Created by the Recycle Devon schools team. You can unsubscribe at any time.
There is also the Network of Environmental Educators in Devon (NEED), a large network of environmental education providers in Devon. Finally, check out the Devon County Council Sustainable Schools page.
