Residents in North Devon will now be able to access energy advice through their local council, in an attempt to tackle fuel poverty in the region.
The service has been created in partnership with 361 Energy – a local Community Energy Company – and includes:
- energy saving tips
- support to help manage energy debt
- guidance on using heating systems efficiently
- help to access grants for energy efficiency improvements, like loft insulation.
Residents can also access free energy saving measures, such as LED lightbulbs, draught proofing for doors and windows, and heat reflectors for radiators.
