Creation Hub Held To Explore Net Zero Visions Next Steps In Mid Devon

Following the completion of the Net Zero Visions Tiverton mural, the Sampford Peverell Team Mission Community held a Creation Hub in Uplowman on Sunday 8th October to explore what is next for the Net Zero Visions project in Mid Devon.

Local residents enjoyed visiting stalls, listening to speakers and coming together for a locally-sourced community lunch. Discussions focused on ways in which villages across Devon can act to make a difference in their own environment, expanding on the original work done with Sustainable Tiverton. Conversations developed around the differences between rural and town life, sustainable use of resources, food production, and good practice examples of how others are responding on both smaller and national scales.

The event also saw the launch of the new Net Zero Visions Mural Creation Toolkit – a practical, step-by-step guide for communities to create their own Net Zero Visions mural in order to inspire residents to imagine what a net-zero future could look like in their local area.

The free toolkit is available with other Net Zero Visions resources on our website.
